How the tour runs today
Right now, every visit to Oak Island is a shared experience — small guided departures where guests join the Money Pit Express together for the same 2-hour route. It’s a format that works beautifully: our guides can spend real time with every guest, and the island stays comfortable for the research teams still working on it.
Bringing a larger group?
If you’re planning a larger group visit and want to make sure everyone rides together, the best option today is to book your party onto the same scheduled departure — spots are first-come, first-served, and popular weekends fill up months ahead.

Private tours in the future
We’re regularly asked whether we’ll offer fully private tours — a Money Pit Express departure booked exclusively for a single group. It’s something we’re actively exploring for future seasons, and when it’s ready, we’ll launch it here first.
