Visiting with Accessibility in Mind
We’re committed to making Oak Island enjoyable for every visitor. Here’s what to expect — and if you have specific needs, we’re happy to take your request ahead of your visit.
On the Tour
- The Money Pit Express tram is covered and wheelchair accessible.
- The tour is experienced primarily from the tram, with brief stops where you can step off to see key sites up close.
- Walking is minimal — you’re welcome to stay aboard the tram at any stop.
Facilities
- Accessible (wheelchair-friendly) washrooms are available at the Interpretive Centre.
- The Interpretive Centre is accessible.
- The Oak Island Treasure Shop is accessible.
